Tents (Canopies)
*NOTICE TO BUSINESSES:
You are required to have a permit issued by either Charlotte County or the City of Punta Gorda to have a tent canopy set up at your place of business.*
You are responsible for obtaining & paying for this permit. We will provide you with a Fire Retardant Certificate, which will be required when you apply for your permit at the courthouse building department. Should you request us to get the permit for you, our service fee is $150.00, in addition to the permit fee charged by the County or City.
The fee for Charlotte County is $94.00.
The fee for the City of Punta Gorda is charged by the size of your tent.
**This permit requirement does not apply to homeowners.**
